Where have I been???

Where in the world have I been? Sorry for my lack of blogging! I've been so wrapped up in school. Right now I have some free time but things are about to get crazy again so I may disappear for a while again but I'm going to try my hardest to keep posting blogs. I revamped my YouTube account and plan to start posting more videos really soon! Posting videos have been weighing on my mind for a while now. I need to get back into my grove!

School has been amazing. I love it and love everyone I got to school with & all my teachers! I've learned so much that I can't really go through it all but I will be doing more Youtube videos showing you all what I have learned.

I recently bought two new bathing suits from Victorias Secret and LOVE them! They really have the best bathing suits! I also am getting ready to start a new job at a hair salon as the receptionist. I'm so excited! I can't wait to start making some money!!! I'll share some pictures from over the past few months. Hope you all enjoy :) More blogging to come. Sorry I couldn't write more! xoxo

whirlwind of a week!

I apologize for my lack of blogging.
I am going on my third week of school! Today we are learning to curl hair then we have a career fair this afternoon. I'm so excited! I printed out like 10 copies of my resume and hope to find a job!!!

We have learned so much! Roller sets, pin curls, finger waves, scalp treatments etc. Tomorrow we are learning are verrry first haircut! Woohooo!
I'm on the metro now so I got to keep this short! I will write more later!

Frist day of Cosmetology Class!

My first day of cosmetology school was yesterday. It was a whirlwind! I received my kit & labeled everything w/ my name. I go from 9-330pm tues-sat. We took a ton of notes on bacteria, sanitation, sterilization, and hand washing. It was so much writing & highlighting! We will have a test on all of it next Thursday. I'm stressed but need to make sure I study!!!

After all that we got our mannicans out & learned how to section the hair into 4 parts.The teacher wanted to check our work and I was the 1st one she told "good job" awesomeness! I was so proud of myself! Anyway! That's about it for now. I've had so much lack of sleep :( need.sleep.now haha off to day 2! Woohoo!

My First Day...

Today is my first day of beauty school. I'm waiting in the lobby for orientation to start. Its from 1230-330pm and its 1200pm now! They suggested you buy a bigger bag on wheels to carry all your things and I didn't bring it with me today since its orientation but as I wait in the lobby there is a girl in here waiting & she has her bag... On wheels... And I don't. I hope they're not mad. If I remember correctly it was optional anyway... :/ I'm just so freaking nervous! I will blog as soon as I can & let you know how the day went! Ahhhhh

Tuesday, Tuesday

It's about 12:45pm here where I'm at on the East Coast. I have done nothing! I have the worst head ache. It is bearable right now but for the most part I can't shake it. I don't know why! I have a feeling it's because I was on the computer until 11:30pm last night. Maybe the screen is messing with my eyes and giving me a head ache? UGH either way I need to break this habit I need to stop being on the computer so late and getting to bed so late. I'm a mess with so much free time lol. I can't wait for school to start. It will be so nice!

Things I'm loving at the moment:

Bare Minerals Bronzer- gives me a nice glow with out looking orange=finally! (Little goes a long way)

Cetaphil daily lotion with SPF- I never moisturized my face before and my skin was getting dry in certain spots this winter. I started using this stuff and have really noticed a difference in my skin. It is very soft and smooth now.

Garnier Full Body moose- I use this before I blow dry, before I curl, or straighten my hair. It's good all around!

Palmers Shea Butter Lotion- My FAVORITE body lotion. Could not live with out it. I hope they don't ever stop selling this stuff. Palmers brand is the BEST.

Paul Mitchelle Flat Iron & Update!

This is my WONDERFUL Paul Mitchelle Flat Iron. I LOVE it. I couldn't recommend enough!

I received it as a gift and have been in love with it since. It heats up super quick and you can adjust the heat temp. It's smaller than I would have picked out but it gets the job done faster than my big ol' piece of crap one I had! I found it online retailing for $225.00 which is a lot but if your saving up for a new flat iron and are looking the the best bang for your buck, you've found it! It really does an awesome job and I don't even feel like it is frying my hair at all. I dye my hair blond and I get compliments all the time that my hair feels healthy. I owe all of that to my conditioning routine and my flat iron. My old flat iron would kill my hair and it really smelt burnt but now I don't have to worry about all of that. If anyone tries it, or has it, let me know what you think about it. Like I said, I love it! It is so easy to travel with too! I've had mine a year and have taken if on vacations and never have to worry about it taking up too much space!!

Cosmetology update: 
I went last Tuesday and registered for school. I am officially enrolled and thrilled about it! I haven't heard back about financial aide for school yet but hope to hear something really soon. I have orientation next Monday January 18th. from 12:30-3:30pm. I will get my kit and all kinds of important information! I had to buy a bad with wheels on it (suggested by school) and I found a nice one for 20 bucks at Walmart. I wanted it in pink but when It came to my house it was black and dark green lol. I don't think I chose the right color... I felt stupid  then realized no one will be looking at my bag! And if they do, they have no life! Even though, I really wanted PINK! I have to buy a combination lock for my locker at school, binder, sheet protectors and pens. I bought a pink binder since I didn't get the pink bag lol and zebra design pens and plain old sheet protectors and lock. I'm excited about it though!


I have to wear black and white to school. No designs, only patterns, not cream, not gray, Black and white ONLY. I have been collecting black and white shirts like crazy! I need to go out this week some time and buy some pants which are the one thing I need really bad. I also need black shoes, closed toe and comfy. So I'm going to buy a cute comfy pair of black flats or or boots. As spring draws closer I'll get more springy type things but I can work with what I have for now. I'm so happy!!!  I feel like everything is finally falling together. I am focusing on this next chapter in my life.


Once I start school I'm going to apply to some salons around my house and around school that way I can gain extra experience. I shampooed hair for 4 years while in high school so at least I have some experience and maybe me being in school they'll want to hire me even more!

One more week!!!!

I have one more week until I start beauty school! I'm so excited!

As you can tell from all my blog posts before this one I blogged about random things. I needed some practice and felt good with what I was blogging about. Now, It's getting serious haha! I'm jumping into my world of hair and beauty NOW! I will be blogging about school everyday if I can but at least every couple days and then giving your all beauty tips! I also will be starting my Youtube videos. I have two up right now but the more experience I get, I will be sharing more tips with you all. I'm really excited about it and hope I can help someone out there!

2 More Weeks!

I'm sorry for my lack of blogging! I started a new job and have been preparing for school in 2 weeks which I'm soooo excited about. I can't wait to start documenting my journey! Ill be blogging & vlogging! I've been wanting to post videos but haven't had the time! Maybe monday! Off to bed for now!

A lot is going to happen...

So much is happening... My head is spinning but I'm trying my best to keep focused...

My boyfriend and I looked at four houses today. I'm so excited because we found one we truly love... We have one more we are going to look at then were hopefully putting a contract on a home... I can not wait. My world is finally falling together.

I have my last week of work this week. Tuesday I am going to Graham Webb to register officially and get my financial aid figured out. I'm excited about that :)

Tomorrow I start my first day of work at the Italian place where I'm going to wait tables. I'm nervous because I've never waited on tables before :/ eeek this should be interesting!!!

I am going to get started filming videos very soon... I just need to get these next two weeks over with. I start beauty school in two weeks! I CANT WAIT!!! AAAHHHH =) I will for sure vlog that experience... I will keep everyone updated on that and the house search.. and the new job lol

I need to go and iron my uniform for tomorrow, shower, clean, unpack from staying at my bf's last night and SLEEP! Tomorrow is going to be a long day for me. Not looking forward to that!

Here is to a PERFECT 10 :) this new year is going to be amazing because I'm going to make it amazing! (I'm being positive hah)

I appologize for my lack of blogging. I have been so busy with so many personal things going on in my life. My boyfriend and I are looking at houses, I'm transitioning from 1 job to the other, getting geared up for Cosmetology school in 2 weeks and trying to spend as much time with family and friends as I can- just to name a few.

I got a new camcorder for Christmas so new videos will be going up ASAP! I've been slacking but I have good reasons haha. I got some new goodies for Christmas too that I can't wait to do reviews on and share all of that w/ everyone!

I can't wait to get started and show you all what I'm made of!

Its so windy and cold here where I'm at :( I'm blasting the heat in my car (my boyfriend is driving) but I'm still cold lol. I'm always cold though.

Late night always equals an early morning. Were getting up early and looking @ houses! Keeping my fingers crossed and putting my faith in god that it will all fall together the way its supposed to!
